Problem with prints squished in the corner
Problem
Some people have been encountering problems with their prints coming out squished into the corner of the bed, rather than starting at the centre of the bed.
Cause
The printer coordinate system for a cartesian printer (e.g. not a polar delta printer) starts with x,y = 0,0 at the corner of the bed. You need to tell your slicer that this is the case, so that the correct GCode files are produced.
Solution
For example, in Cura, you need to go into the machine settings, and uncheck the box for “Machine centre 0,0”. See below:
